Hello translators,

As we get closer to a new release, I kindly request that all people who has sent me new
translations check if they have been commited.

For this, you can take a look at the audacity/locale directory, via the CVS WEB Interface at:

http://audacity.cvs.sourceforge.net/audacity/audacity-src/locale/

If you fiond any problems, please send ME (not this list, I DO NOT read this list), your most
up-to-date translations.

If I missed any emails, please forgive me.

Hi Buanzo (and all you other nice people around the world:-))
I looked at my translation for the swedish version, (translation
revision 1.8) and with Internet Explorer and Unicode (UTF-8) the three
last letters in the swedish alphabet were missing. There were just these
empty "letterboxes" ??? instead. When I changed to "Western windows" it
all looked the right way. I'm afraid that the final version of Audacity
1.3.4 doesn't work with the swedish translation. What do you think? Can
you check this before the release?

I will try to work on it. The welcome page is quite all in english
because no modification were translated in french.
The guy in charge of translating the website disapears one year ago
without an only word. But with translation of 1.4.0 version and french
support, I'm not sure to do the job on time.

Hi,

There's no string "Beat Finder..." in the 1.3.3 POT, but this is visible
in the "Analyzer" menu.

Other examples are:

Edit>Select>"None"
Generate>"Click Track..."
Generate>"Pluck..."
Effect>"Cross Fade In"
Effect>"Cross Fade Out"
Effect>"Delay"
Analyze>"Beat Finder..."
Analyze>"Silence Finder..."
Help>"Screenshot Tools..."

Is there anything I am getting wrong here, or is the POT files missing
these string?

Items beneath the separator in the Generate, Effect and Analyse menus
are plug-ins. They aren't translatable, so they won't appear in the pot
file.

These two aren't plug-ins, so they ought to be in the file.
Edit>Select>"None" is in the POT file - it's there with it's shortcut
and accelerator, so appears as "&None\tCtrl+Shift+A".

The screenshot tools are development (well, documentation) tools and not
intended to appear in release builds, so they won't be in 1.4.0. However
this entry is in the pot file for 1.3.4 I've got here.

If you haven't updated the language .po file from the .pot file
recently, then this would explain it.

Two questions

Hi everybody!
Got two questions:
1. I've seen that the Audacity.pot-file is changed. Will there be a
second deadline for translation for the final version 1.3.4?

2. I suppose that there will be another beta version before the release
of 1.3.4? (I have sent my translation for 1.3.4 before the pot-file was
updated).
