Summary: -k switch doesnt disable lowpass filter.
Initial Comment:
Using the -k switch doesn't disable the lowpass filtering system. This problem was seen on v3.98b6. This problem occurs on low and high bitrates of CBR (I tested 128kbps and 320kbps) and on VBR.

The "-k" switch was removed since 3.98 beta 1, see changelog.
Ciao Robert
PS: the lowpass switch does work as it should, did you download some
"modified" LAME binary? (I know there are some with hardwired switches)

I forgot to add, the --lowpass switch doesnt seem to have an effect on any
bitrates
