Jack, first of all: thanks for helping out with the Dutch translation!
The header is at the beginning of the file you're translating.
I've never used po-edit so i don't know what is shows you.
It might hide the header for you, and you may have to find it under a
special menu-option perhaps. If you use a plain text editor (under
windows notepad or something) you can look at the contents of the file
and see the header of the file.
Anyway, for information on how to translate (in Dutch), have a look at
this:
http://nl.gnome.org/vertalers_technisch.phpThere you'll find information on how to translate the header.
Further required reading for translators (in Dutch) is:
http://nl.gnome.org/vertalers_begin.phpIf you want more direct help, please go on IRC to the #gnome-nl channel
on irc.gimp.org
You can ask questions directly, to me or to some of the other
translators over there.
Good luck, and you can always contact me off-list for more specific
questions about translating.
regards
Tino Meinen
